Digital Art Projector

In 2016 Victor Harbor installed South Australia’s first permanent architectural projection system with the expertise of illuminart and Mosaic AV, which illuminates digital art pieces on to the historic facade of the art deco Victa Cinema.

Arts and Culture Grants Program

The City of Victor Harbor has an Arts and Culture Grants Program to:

  • Increase awareness of the importance of art and culture in the community

  • Facilitate the creation of engaging art in Victor Harbor;

  • Support artists in Victor Harbor in the pursuit of excellence and innovation in arts practice; and

  • Facilitate more people experiencing and participating in art in Victor Harbor.

The 2019/20 Art and Culture Grant program opens on 3 February 2020 and closes 15 March 2020.

Sculpture Encounters Granite Island

A permanent sculpture trail for the people of Victor Harbor and South Australia and their visitors.

‘Sculpture Encounters – Granite Island’ places sculptures by artists from South Australia and across the world among the spectacular scenery and coastal views on Granite Island. By integrating sculptures into the landscape it aims to provide visitors to the island with a different experience as they wander the track. 

Mainstreet Gateway Art Sculpture

An innovative sculpture made a statement at the Ocean Street entrance of Victor Harbor’s Mainstreet Precinct in September 2019. 


The City of Victor Harbor commissioned artist Karl Meyer, with the support of Exhibition Studios, to create his piece ‘Elemental’ as a part of stage two of the Victor Harbor Mainstreet Precinct upgrade. 

Public Art Consultation

The City of Victor Harbor is about to embark on another public art journey! The Telstra exchange building on Ocean Street has been given the green light for a mural! 


Work to commence in March 2020.
